May Tags and Our First Trip to the Pool

Wow, I haven't even logged into my blog in far too long. I must get better at dropping in from time to time. Life has been crazy for the past couple of months! I got a new full time job in North OKC so I've moved in with Colt in Yukon. I've finally gotten completely moved in and my house in Norman has been sold. But since I've moved into a much smaller space there isn't quite as much room for crafting, but I'm working on getting my little crafting space set up and hopefully some cool crafts are soon to come.

So for starters here is my new crafting area in our bedroom. It turned out way more awesome than I had ever hoped, still working on getting everything in there that I want since everything is pretty much still boxed up sitting in our storage unit.




Here is a rocking horse that I finished a while back that I don't think I ever posted on here. I think its pretty cute. Its for sale in my Etsy store

I try to make it to Whole Lotta Scrap for tag class with Vickie every month, and since its May I decided to take mom with me for part of her mother's day present. We had a ton of fun hanging out with Vickie and Leslie.

This is a couple days later when my copper butterfly had completely oxidized.

And we finally made a trip to the pool with Emmy this weekend since it was 'warm enough', warm enough by Emmy's standards at least. She had lots of fun but boy oh boy was that water cold!

Pocket Watch Pendants

So I've made a couple of pendants to sell on Etsy using the Tim Holtz pocket watch and my mind is racing with ideas I want to try with them! I sold this first one on Etsy a couple weeks ago

Then I made another one that I think would be my everyday favorite and it is still for sale on Etsy

And then with all this Valentine's Day crafting stuff hitting stores lately I decided what the heck, lets try a Valentine's Day one! Which I posted on Etsy this evening!

Another Rocking Horse

Here is a rocking horse I made for a woman on Etsy for her baby's nursery. I think it turned out really cute!

Adding more Christmas tags :-)

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this snowman die! and the rock candy crackle paint makes it soooo pretty!

Ok so this one didn't turn out as pretty as I kind of wanted it to be the technique is awesome, embossed foil sheets painted with acrylic paint then sanded and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

This stamp set is soooooo cool! I can't wait to do more with it.

This one turned out very pretty.

This one is one of Vickie's tags that we made at the Whole Lotta Scrap class last week.


And this is what I'm doing with all my tags! Its so cute, its a tag tree!!!! lol it makes me very happy

More Christmas Tags

Spent about 5 or 6 hours at Whole Lotta Scrap last night playing with Christmas tags and here is what I made!

These first two are from the class that Vickie taught last night

 There is a third that I haven't finished yet because I got too distracted trying to make more of the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas

And these are the completed tags I have that were inspired by the 12 Tags of Christmas

This reindeer one is very similar to the one I made last week but I had to make one with the Christmas Kraft resist paper because the effect is just too cool!
